摘要

Education and Information Technologies (EAIT) commences this volume with a change of editor. Deryn Watson has unfortunately decided to retire from the role of Editor-in-Chief of EAIT after ten years. Deryn became joint editor of the journal as volume two was published and Editor-in-Chief in 1998 as volume three was completed. During the time she has been editor, the journal has grown in quality and readership. As an indication of Deryn's success EAIT was accepted in Educational Research Abstracts in September 2006, and is now listed in Communication Abstracts, Computer Literature Index, Educational Research Abstracts Online (ERA), Higher Education Abstracts, Inspec, MathDi and SCOPUS. She will be a hard act to follow and I'm sure all our readers are grateful to her. Deryn remains a member of the Editorial Board.
