Science is fun, and the last thing we would want to do is require a license to practice it. However, it is disconcerting to those who have troubled to learn the maths and the ropes to try to compete with those who haven't in a society where fact and logic are no longer are valued in debate. TinselKoala, a pseudonym for another Ontario, Canada researcher, received an email from a person who had seen some of his online posts. She wanted help developing a device he had repeatedly debunked so she could feed the starving children in Mexico. We will end this special issue of ESJ highlighting the work of TinselKoala.
