Taday non-conventional current and voltage transformers have achieved high performance. In addition, the digital output complies with the most stringent requirements of protective relays and meters. The designs take into account the harshest environmental conditions of temperatures, vibrations and electromagnetic compatibility. Final solutions with respect to standardization of the interfaces will be available soon which will increase the number of on-site installations.
