Wesley L. Wheeler, NECA's Director of Safety, has been appointed by U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh to serve on the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health. This is the second time he has been appointed to this OSHA committee, where he joins 14 other individuals representing all corners of the construction industry. The Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health provides advice and assistance to the assistant secretary on occupational safety and health in construction standards. Members will serve two-year terms and represent the interests of the public, employers, employees, and state and federal government. The committee generally meets two to four times a year. Wheeler will be representing employers.
