The DIP-4-packaged VO617A and VO618A optocouplers with a phototransistor output feature an isolation voltage of 5000V rms for switch-mode-power-supply applications. The devices achieve a 40 to 320% current-transfer ratio and an input drive current of 5 and 1 mA for the VO617A and VO618A, respectively. A creepage distance of 8 mm or more is available as an option. The SOP-4L-packaged VOL617 A and VOL618A have an 8-mm or greater creepage distance and an isolation voltage of 5000V rms.
