Siemens has updated its empty system cubicle enclosure portfolio with the new modular system Sivacon sicube 8MF. A screwed frame forms the basis for the modular system, and is available in 60 model sizes. The frame can be expanded with freely selectable enclosures, expansion components and accessories. The new system cubicles facilitate customised layouts for specific applications e.g. for use in wind turbines, rail applications, the oil and gas sector, or automotive production facilities. Control and switchgear cabinet engineers can decide whether they wish to mount individual parts in-house, or have the system cubicles mounted by Siemens according to specifications.
