摘要

This paper presents the problem of static AC circuit breakers. The mode of current short-circuits developing in three-phase AC circuits, causes and effects are presented. The short-circuit current evolution is presented by highlighting the current strike regarding the thermal and dynamic stability of power breakers. The 3 paragraph, shows the switching method used to reduce the disconnected current short-circuit and paragraph 4 highlights current issues in scientific research on static AC breakers such as switching speed and power losses in nominal operation conditions. The power losses are analyzed during normal operation in the case of static breakers and are conclude that the hybrid circuit breakers are the optimal way of working in nominal and emergency operation.
