摘要

In this paper an investigation of a Squirrel Cage Synchronous Reluctance Motor drive system operating under faulty conditions has been conducted. Three types of open circuit faults in the Voltage Source Inverter have been considered and compared with healthy operation. It was found that the type of fault can be identified from the harmonic content of the DC current. Simulation and characteristic experimental results verify this investigation
