摘要

This work aims to investigate the feasibility of a novel speed controller based on Lagrange's interpolation (LI) for better performance of a self-commutating current source inverter-fed induction motor drive. The closed-loop mathematical model of the complete drive system is developed in the synchronously rotating d~e-q~e reference frame. The performance of the drive employing this novel LI speed controller is evaluated analytically for a 1-hp induction motor and is compared to that with classical PI speed controller using MATLAB simulation.
