L-com Global Connectivity has released a new series of LC fiber plugs, receptacles, and jam nuts to serve high-speed data and video applications. These IP68-rated fiber products are designed to stand up to extreme environments while providing high throughput network connectivity. The IP68-based ruggedized fiber plugs and receptacles offer 400-lb. pull strength and 450-lb. crush resistance as well as protection from moisture, liquid, and dust. Moreover, both plugs and receptacles are available in multi-mode, single-mode, and APC polish single-mode types.
