Anomet Products has released a metallurgically bonded platinum clad moly wire and rod for use in aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, and high-vacuum applications. Anomet Platinum Clad Molybdenum Wire provides high oxidation and corrosion resistance at temperatures of up to 1,200°C. It's an economical design alternative to a pure platinum wire for making connectors and switch components. The PtMo wire features a smooth and consistent surface finish. And it offers superior integrity, formability, and weld ability compared to the wire that is electroplated.
