摘要

The sophistication and complexity of modern communications technologies such as 4G LIE or point-to-point microwave communication pose significant challenges for designers and manufacturers of components and systems. When comprehensive conformance testing established by international standards bodies is added, the final challenge must be met by high-performance test and measurement equipment better than the task. A good example is the implementation of blocking tests for 4G LTE conformance testing in line with Release 11,3GPPTS 36.141. These tests require the test set-up to accurately measure the desired LTE vector-modulated signal in the presence of a vector-modulated interfering signal - or a continuous wave (CW) interferer. In the case of 4G LTE conformance testing, the desired LTE signal is in the vicinity of 2GHz and the interfering signal can be as high as 12.75GHz.
