Die weit verbreiteten Käfigläufermotoren haben einen hohen Anlaufstrom und ein hohes Anzugsmoment. Der hohe Anlaufstrom verursacht Spannungseinbrüche in schwachen Netzen und das hohe Anzugsmoment belastet die Antriebsmechanik. Starhilfen lösen diese Problematik. Die Verfasser beschreiben einen Motorstarter auf Transformatorbasis, der die Vorteile des Sanftanlaufens mit denen eines Anlauftransformators vereint.%Cage induction motors have a high starting torque and current. In weak supply networks the starting current has to be reduced and in some cases the high starting torque can damage the motor and the driven machinery. There are various possible ways of starting cage induction motors. To reduce starting problems a motor can be started with the following motor starter with autotransformer.
