摘要

Medium voltage cable remains an investment and also a loss-intensive business material. Despite years of development and continual improvement, there continues to be a potential for optimization. The author reports over the market situation in Germany and Europe, on the insertion of different cable types in Europe, and indicates that today perceptible optimization potential exists along the chain of production, installation, testing, main-tainance activities and recycling.%Mittelspannungskabel als ein investitions- als auch verlustkostenintensives Betriebsmittel haben trotz langjähriger Entwicklung und stetiger Verbesserung auch heute noch Optimierungspotentiale. Der Verfasser berichtet zunächst anhand der Marktsituation in Deutschland und Europa über den Einsatz verschiedener Kabeltypen und zeigt dann heute erkennbare Optimierungspotentiale entlang der Kette Herstellung, Installation, Prüfung Betrieb und Entsorgung auf.
