On May 7, Toshiba Corp. announced its consolidated and non-consolidated results for fiscal year (FY) 2009, which ended on March 31. Consolidated net sales were JPY6.38 trillion (US$68.62 billion), which was a decrease from the previous fiscal year, but other major consolidated results showed improvement. Operating income was JPY117.2 billion (US$1.26 billion) and income from continuing operations, before income taxes and noncontrolling interests was JPY25 billion (US$268.4 million).
