In May, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) announced its Committee on the Environment (COTE) had selected 10 examples of "sustainable architecture and green design solutions." The winners were recognized on June 10 at the AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in Miami. Now in its 14th year, the COTE Top Ten Green Projects program celebrates projects that "make a positive contribution to their communities, improve comfort for building occupants and reduce environmental impacts."
