Founded nearly 40 years ago, Serapid specializes in the horizontal and vertical transfer of heavy loads. Its Rigid Chain Technology, a chain consisting of interlocking links working like a rigid bar, has been applied to a variety of industries. Solutions include many different types of lifts, and push/pull horizontal movement systems used for nuclear-waste transfer, quick die change and pallet-pushing systems. The company specializes in heavy-load applications with limited space and the need for both accuracy and repeatability.
