The largest Tajik mobile operator by subscriptions, Babilon-Mobile,nhas announced the launch of commercial LTE services. The servicenwill be available in the capital of Dushanbe. BMI believes that LTEnwill have only a peripheral impact on the market in Tajikistan, wherenwireless data services remain out of reach for a large portion of thenpopulation. However, in the capital LTE services are expected tonboost broadband uptake among higher income consumers.
