Vodafone Group, a UK-headquartered mobile group, has agreednterms for the purchase of Koç.net from Koç Holding, a Turkishnconglomerate. The acquisition will see Vodafone add fixed-linenand broadband operations to its existing mobile business in Turkeynand enable it to expand its enterprise division. BMI considersnthe potential acquisition to be strategically valuable by enablingnVodafone to benefit from growth in converged services in Turkey,nwhere its mobile competitors, Turkcell and Avea, already havena presence.
