A prototype experimental setup has been developed to find the quality of biogas produced by cowdung by measuring its flame temeprature. The variaiton of flame temeprature of the sample of biogas collected from a laboratory scale anaerobic digester in each week has been studied to find the change in qulity of the same throughout the retention period. The result has been verified by determining the change of percentage of methane in the biogas.
