摘要

A two dimensional transient analytical model was developed to study and evaluate high temperature phase change thermal energy storage systems for space applications. Parametric studies were performed in order to assess the effects of various thermal and geometric parameters on the heat transfer process and on the performance of the energy storage system. Studies were also conducted to evaluate the effects of these parameters on the cyclic heating and cooling modes of the system.
