I fully understand that many families are already struggling with rising costs of living, and that many face an uncertain time with the economy as it is. And of course, it's not our aim to add to that burden. But we cannot shirk the tough decisions for the future of this country that will encourage huge investment in low carbon energy generation. Vital investment to help us meet our CO2 reduction targets, and demonstrate UK leadership in tackling climate change
