摘要

This paper presents some numerical aspects of the shape optimisation of the boundaries of 2D simply and multiply connected elastic bodies. Attention is focused on stress analysis by the fictitious stress method, an indirect variant of the boundary element method, and the analytical direct sensitivity analysis, which is related to the analysis method. The design objective is to minimise a maximum effective (tangential) stress. Bezier curves, standard and modified, are used to locate the optimised boundary of the body.
