Welcome to EIM and by the time you read this we will be close to the month of April, to Easter and traditionally the time when many of our clubs open up their tracks for a season of public running - evidenced by the way our club diary traditionally bursts over one page this month! Of course some clubs will already have been running awhile, their members hardy souls who want to run their locos all year round, and in some cases not even needing to be hardy souls! I'm writing these words just after a February half-term holiday which proved to be very mild indeed - especially in the bit of mid Wales where EIM Towers is located and which saw record temperatures cresting 20 degrees C...
