Dear Sir, in the March issue of EIM there is an article on 'The Trials and Tribulations of Keyway Cutting' by Derek Todman, a very interesting article. Cutting keyways by pushing the tool I feel is a recipe for disaster waiting to happen, as in this form of set-up everything has got to be in line and any slight misalignment would lead to a rather catastrophic result, especially in the smaller sizes.
