Getting the right contractor for a project is a vital step in ensuring its success. But experience from past projects is often lost and the process has to be reinvented every time. This article proposes an effective process that avoids wasting time with 'no hope' companies, lights a clear path for both the buying organisation and potential suppliers, and will bring the right supplier to the negotiating table.
