摘要

Usual models dealing with transport phenomena in fluid mixtures, with a high number of components (n≥2), re not as efficient as they seem to be for many practical applications, among which petroleum reservoir simulations. We are showing here the drawbacks of such models, especially regarding gravitationnal segregation or mass boundary conditions. In comparison, we show that individual components velocity calculation seem to be more adapted to such problems. Hence, we introduce a new formulation and apply it to a convection problem in a binary mixture.
