摘要

The paper describes an application of a revised version of an existing modular process simulator (CAMEL-3) to the calculation of the mass-and energy balances and to the exergy accounting of a combined cycle plant under unsteady operating conditions. The present version, as its parent codes, identifies a process by means of an interconnection matrix IM which represents the process connectivity and assembles the system of balance equations not in a predetermined way , but according to an original protocol which flags- for each component-each 《unknown》 parameter as an active variable and chooses the correct equation set from a larger set of 《possible》 equations which are known to apply to that component.
