This work is devoted to enhancement of heat transfer n dsobers by using the heat transfer fluid (water) in phase change. An experimental study was carried out on a copper test cellin orderto characterize the heat exchange in transient conditions, a relatively unexplored problem. Different flow regimes in the heating period and different boiling regime in the cooling period are identified. Correlations are es- tablished for each of the two periods, which predicts the variations of the fluid heat transfer coefficients during the cycles.
