摘要

This paper describes the use of evolutionary algorithms in the optimization of distillation systems. Both single column and column sequence optimization are treated by a newly developed modular program package. The target function value for a given flowsheet is determined by the commercial simulator Aspen Plus~TM. The optimizer is a self-developed module based on an evolutionary Algorithm and coupled by an interface program t the simulator The Evolutionary search process can be accelerated by the inclusion of heuristic Rules.
