摘要

A generic model has been developed to solve multi-component mass transfer problems often encountered in absorption, distillation extrac- tion, with or without chemical reactions. It is able to include any thermodynamic model, kinetic scheme, equilibrium state and flux calculation model desired, and the mass transfer model used is that of the double film theory. The equations describing the transfer within the column are developed on two levels: microscopic and macroscopic, and the systems hereby obtained are solved using reputable numerical methods.
