The electronics and ceramics manufacturing industries are lobbying the White House Office of Management & Budget (OMB) to delay the renewal of an EPA data collection request for the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI), following the agency's rejection of industry efforts to stop metals from being classified as persistent bioaccumulative toxics (PBTs) - a move that would ease TRI reporting requirements.
