摘要

An upcoming EPA report on children's health will include epidemiological data suggesting that exposure to environmental contaminants such as lead and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) contributes to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)- a change from the 2003 version of the report where the White House downgraded the ADHD data. "There is a fair amount of debate about the role of environmental contaminants [contributing to ADHD].In 2003,some people thought there was insufficient evidence," an agency source says."We'll be revisiting that in this report. There is a tremendous amount of new evidence."
