A revised EPA risk assessment justifying its industrial wipes and towels rule is unlikely to change any of the major provisions in the controversial regulation, even though the agency is revising the study based on public comments that questioned how the initial assessment was conducted, according to industry sources tracking the rule. The rule has been at the center of controversy following allegations EPA shared draft regulatory language with a major contributor to President Bush's re-election campaign and revamped the rule to help the donor's industry.
