General Motors LLC must defend a would-be class action alleging "defeat devices" were used to mask shoddy performance and emission results in hundreds of thousand of vehicles with Duramax diesel engines. GM and co-defendants Robert Bosch GmbH and Robert Bosch LLC urged the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to dismiss all 44 claims in the litigation, including one federal conspiracy claim under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
