A Minneapolis industrial site polluted with petroleum and other contaminants will receive the largest chunk of $4.6 million in grants from a Minnesota agency seeking to clean up and redevelop non-Superfund sites. Nine other projects also will receive the brownfields grants, which Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development selected through competitive bidding. Each of the sites approved July 25 spans fewer than 10 acres.
