The chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee vowed action on stalled energy legislation on the Keystone XL pipeline, Environmental Protection Agency power plant regulations and liquefied natural gas exports if Republicans win control of the Senate in the November elections. Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.) detailed his "new vision" to take advantage of America's booming production of oil and natural gas in remarks at a conference held by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. "If the pundits are right, that the Republicans retain the House and flip the Senate, we are going to have an opportunity and a challenge for us to govern," Upton said. "And I'm excited about this opportunity; I really am."
