The House Science, Space, and Technology Committee narrowly approved a bill April 11 that would repeal waivers provided by the Environmental Protection Agency for introducing gasoline containing up to 15 percent ethanol (El5) into the market until further scientific review. The committee approved the bill by a vote of 18-17, mainly along party lines, with Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) as the sole Republican voting against the bill.
