Energy Secretary Steven Chu is scheduled to meet with senior business executives March 13 to discuss the use of tax equity partnerships to finance renewable energy projects at a summit being presented by the White House, according to an Energy Department spokesman and other sources familiar with the meeting. The closed-door meeting, "Maximizing Incentives from Renewable Generation: Best Practices and Financial Opportunities from Renewable Energy Tax Credits," to be held at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, will feature remarks from officials representing companies, including Google Inc., JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Ernst and Young, according to an agenda obtained by Bloomberg BNA.
