North Carolina legislators have voted to override Gov. Bev Perdue's (D) veto of a bill that will open the state's untapped natural gas reserves to hydraulic fracturing. The House voted 72-47 in favor of overriding the veto, hitting exactly the three-fifths majority necessary to override.
