The Environmental Protection Agency said Nov. 10 it is removing three provisions from its revisions to a spill control prevention rule issued in December 2008 "to address a number of issues raised by the regulated community." The change will revise amendments published in December 2008 to the Spill Prevention, Control, and Coun-termeasure (SPCC) rule at 40 C.F.R. Part 112 following EPA's review of comments and consideration of "all relevant facts," the agency said (73 Fed. Reg. 74,236; 39 ER 2367, 11/28/09).
