摘要

Based on the findings and analyses in both parts of this article, it is demonstrated that under the current law regime, opinions and voices from public citizens are given a more significant weight in the environmental public-interest litigation than the past due to the fact that formal mechanisms and channels are now available to allow public citizens to make complaints or accusations to procuratorate organs in accordance with the interpretation of the current law, while public citizens and social organisations retain their rights to file environmental private-interest litigation cases against wrongdoers if they could satisfy "direct-interest standing requirement" under Art 108 of the 2017 CPL for a civil case or "infringed interest requirement" under Art 25 of the 2017 ALL for an administrative case.
