In India, increased use of environmental auditing can help industry achieve business success while also significantly enhancing environmental protection. Environmental auditing has been shown to be effective at helping organizations achieve a wide range of objectives, including pollution control, resource conservation, minimization of health and safety risks, and enhancement of productivity.rnThe case study described here clearly illustrates how valuable environmental auditing can be as a cost management (and cost reduction) tool.
