摘要

In Appendix 3 (page 930), the correct regression equation to calculate cadmium concentrations in earthworms should be log[Cd-o] = 1.3 + 0.32 log[Cd-s]. This correction results in an increase in the predicted exposure concentrations (PECs), potentially affected fractions (PAFs) and internal concentrations for vertebrate species feeding on earthworms. The corrected PECs, PAFs, and internal concentrations are presented below in revised versions of Table 1 (page 924) and Table 2 (page 925). Please note that these changes also pertain to the PECs and internal concentrations in the corresponding figures (Figure 4 and Figure 5 on page 925) and to related elements in the text (mainly in the sections 'Results-Predicted exposure concentrations' on page 923 and 'Results-Comparison with field data' on page 924). The methodology, the most important results, and the conclusions of our study are not affected by the correction.
