摘要

This critical load approach has been developed to guide policies aimed at reducing atmospheric pollutant emissions as part of Geneva Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution(CLRTAP). Belgium, and more precisely the Walloon region, fit into this policy. To the best of our knowledge, the critical load for an ecosystem is defined as the maximal amount of one or more pollutant deposits below which no harmful impact appears in the ecosystem.
