摘要

The present paper studies the orientation of inclusions in a composite medium under deformation. The study is based on previous papers dealing with the homogenization of a composite, containing one - dimensional and tow - dimensional inclusions. The law of modification of the function of inclusion distribution is derived. Moreover, the corresponding 2-nd and 4-th rang tensors of the composite texture are also determined. The obtained results are used to find the compliance matrix when considering drawing of high - modulus polymer fibres. The theoretical results are compared with experimental data for highly oriented polyethylene fibres.
