摘要

Dear readers, Welcome to the first issue of the European Journal of Navigation published under my management. I wish to thank Mr. Arkadiusz Tomczak for his good job as the previous editor. The aim to maintain and extend EJN's reputation in publishing papers of high scientific quality remains unchanged top priority. With regard to this, during the meeting of the Supervisory Board and Editing Committee of EJN in Bordeaux (7th April 2015), we came to common conclusions. Though some of the means of authors' activation like the EJN digital format and EJN website have not been successfully completed until now, we managed to get assurances of other EUGIN Institutes, not participating in EJN, of their contribution to next EJN issues. Also the EJN financial statement for 2014 and scheduled for 2015 were accepted leading the way for uninterrupted EJN publishing in the current year (the last of PNF responsibility).
