This article describes the Pilot Assist for Ships System - a Polish solution for harbour navigation. It presents the problem of navigation and mooring. Afterwards, some possible solutions for aiding those processes are described. Later on, it is depicted, how Astri Polska's Pilot Assist for Ships solution can help the pilots in the harbour activities. The authors describe implementation of such system and present the field test results.
