More than a decade after the WTO's birth in 1995, Wilfred Ethier and Arye Hillman have succeeded in producing a volume of articles that link the principles upon which the WTO operates to the international trade literature on unilateral and multilateral trade policy actions. This collection of articles identifies reasons for the departure of international trade policies from free trade and, thereby, deepens our understanding of the WTO's purpose and functions.
