In what it called its biggest enterprise product launch ever, Microsoft officially rolled out Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 in Los Angeles on Feb. 27. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer sat down with Senior Editor Peter Galli following his keynote address at the event to discuss the company's enterprise strategy, what he's doing to improve the negative perception of Windows Vista, the move toward greater openness and interoperability, and how the company is going to compete with VMware in the virtualization space.
